Colour profiles
ADJUST THE COLOUR MANAGEMENT OF YOUR PRINTER DEPENDING ON THE PAPER USED
The chemical composition of the paper (whiteness, fluorescent effect of the optical bleaching agents, etc.) influences the colour management at the output from an inkjet printer.
This means that, if the same settings are employed, the printed result differs depending on the paper used.
In order to adapt this colour management at the printer output and obtain identical results despite the use of different papers, it is possible to make use of colour profiles. These modify and adjust the colours during printing.
If the controller driving your RISO hardware permits the use of colour profiles suitable for your paper types then RISO permits you to download and test a number of profiles for some standard papers.
