COVID-19 notification

Our priority is to maintain the health of our employees, customers as well as suppliers. Maintaining and safeguarding business continuity and customer satisfaction is also important to us.

Since the COVID-19 outbreak, we have been closely following the developments, advice and guidelines of the World Health Organization and the government. Our priority is to maintain the health of our employees, customers as well as suppliers, while maintaining and safeguarding business continuity and customer satisfaction is also important to us.

Recommendations to RISO employees

On February 5, 2020, the general management of RISO FRANCE, in charge of the Middle-East region instructed all employees on  the precautions to be taken. Avoiding physical contact within the company is an example of this.

On March 2, 2020, a reminder was sent to our employees in order to:

  • Extend the given guidelines to customers and the private sphere;
  • Adhere to good hygiene practices recommended by the Ministry of Health;
  • Stay out of to the office if  they have symptoms such as fever, cough, or breathing difficulty and to consult a doctor immediately.

As of March 16, 2020, it has been decided by RISO that all employees who can perform their work at home work from home. This is a measure that is also recommended at national level and we adhere to these recommendations, in order to guarantee the safety of all RISO stakeholders. It is also important for you to know that we are well prepared for this situation and that all services of RISO FRANCE remain available.

Continuity of our customer service, consumables and parts

There have been no production or delivery problems so far. This was recently reported to us by headoffice RISO KAGAKU CORPORATION (Japan). If a delivery problem from Japan does arise in the near future, it will not affect us directly. At RISO FRANCE we have a large stock of consumables and spare parts that will be able to supply our customers for at least 6 months. So far, the production of ink, parts and machines has not ceased in Japan. All freight / cargo flights to and from Japan have been unimpeded so far. So there are currently no stock shortages.

Maintenance of your equipment

In case of malfunctions and repairs, our technicians will continue to assist and visit you. In the event that a technical employee has to stay at home due to illness symptoms, there will be a backup of another technician who, under normal circumstances, covers another province. If this situation occurs, it may be that the average response time is higher than you normally expect from us. We ask you to understand this. It is important that the safety of every technical visit is guaranteed. We follow the guidelines set by the cabinet. Consider the importance of keeping sufficient distance between people as well as the other hygiene measures that are all imposed on us. Our technical staff have been informed about these strict guidelines.

The entire RISO FRANCE team thanks you for your confidence in us and remains at your disposal to help you and answer your questions. Updated information will be sent to you from RISO in the event that current government decisions change. You can of course also follow any updates via the RISO MIDDLE EAST LinkedIn company page.
