An inkjet production printer BLI certified

The RISO ComColor GL9730 was put under evaluation by the Buyers Laboratory. It involved 1 million sheets, using a variety of different paper stocks over a period of a month, and assessed on various key performance factors.

The ComColor GL9730 has been awarded the "Performance Certified" label based on the successful completion of Buyers Laboratory 1,000,000-impression durability test.

The FORCEJET™ inkjet technology guarantees an optimum availability rate. The paper is not exposed to any heat source, eliminating curling and reducing the risk of incidents relating to the paper path as well as post-production risks during insertion and finishing.

Optimised reproduction

The ComColor GL9730 possesses functionalities which guarantee a stable print quality and, consequently, uniform results at high speed. And for colour printing, applying grey ink in addition to the CMYK inks results in faithful reproduction with subtle gradation and more intense colours.

ComColor Express RS1100C controller

The RS1100C is a controller developed by RISO in order to boost the efficiency of the ComColor GD by adding further parameter settings.

Operation with custom print queues, Hot Folders, printing and finishing subsets or managing colour profiles are some of the functionalities made available by the RS1100C.

Fiery FS2000C controller

The ComColorExpress FS2000C, Fiery® controller, which has been specially designed for the ComColor GD series enables you to optimise your production printing operations by making full use of the speed of your printer.

This external controller is compatible with print tools such as the Fiery® Command WorkStation® d’EFI™ software. With its job management and modification functionalities and its server functions, it allows you to create the ideal environment for controlling your printing activities.

In addition, this tool allows you to benefit from the following functionalities:

  • Adobe PDF Print Engine 3.0

AlphaStream Pro controller

The αStream Pro is a multi-flow controller which has been specially developed for the ComColor GD and VALEZUS series and which permits the printing of transactional and/or transpromotional documents. αStream Pro can handle the printing languages IPDS, PDF, PS and AFP (depending on the option) and implements the most recent standards:

  • MO:DCA IS/3 and MO:DCA GA (described by the AFP Consortium) for the optional IPDS and AFP inputs.
  • PDF 1.3 to 1.7, PDF/X-1a to PDF/X-5 and PDF/VT for the optional PDF, IPDS and AFP inputs. In αStream Pro, the PDF data is processed with Adobe PDF Print Engine (APPE) v4.5.
  • PostScript level 3 for the optional PostScript input.

αStream Pro offers the versatility of a spooler coupled with integrity and traceability management based on a secure bidirectional protocol between the printer and the controller.

AlphaStream Starter controller

The αStream Starter is a print controller that permits the easy, high-speed handling of PostScript and PDF files with no impairment of the printer’s nominal performance.

The PDF files are processed in native mode by Adobe PDF Print Engine, thereby guaranteeing perfect transparency management.
